Nava presents “The Shape of Design”
The Milan flagship store in via Durini, recently renovated in its rigorous, essential and bright environments, becomes the theatre of events and exhibitions of cultural and artistic interest during Milan Design Week. “The Shape of Design” is the event promoted by Nava that will be held on Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. right in the store, in the Durini Design District, to celebrate design in all its forms: bags and accessories, watches and pens.
Lines with international features, clean shapes and aesthetic rigor define “Milano” collection, designed for Nava by Naoto Fukasawa, guest of honor of the evening. In addition to the presentation of the new items, new colors further enhance the shapes in a “special edition” specifically designed for the Design Week.
“Air” and “Enigma” watches, respectively designed by Ettore Giordano and Vincenzo Vinci and Bibi Design Studio (Alessandro Marzio and Eugenio Barra), express the concept of time in an innovative and revolutionary way, by playing with the dials and the effects caused by the rotation of the hands. “Air” recalls the amphitheatre profile, rotated, revolutionized and closed on itself, while “Enigma” pays homage to the French designer J.P. Vitrac and his “Imbroglio” calendar.
“Magnetica” is the pen by Giulio Iacchetti that attracts the look, telling something about itself and about who holds it, in a perfect cylinder interrupted only by a clip with a minimal and functional design. Special attention to the magnetic cap that gives the name to the object.
The designers Naoto Fukasawa, Giulio Iacchetti, Ettore Giordano, Vincenzo Vinci, Alessandro Marzio Barra and Eugenio Barra will be present at the event.
Come and join us on Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. in via Durini 2 / l.go Augusto
